This is the eidited version of my intrerview with Marqueston Huff.
Before I even got to the editing part I didnt know how to get my audio from soundcloud to audacity. After I found out how to do that, It took me about 2 hours to find out how to get the audio on audacity back to soundcloud. I started off pretty rough but somehow I found out a way to complete it. Once I figured things out, at times I had trouble editing the audio because certain things would delete when I tried to do it. I was getting frustated so I stopped multiple times to calm my self down. I think I was mad because I have used audacity before and it hasn’t ever done this to me before. Besides the hassle of deleting things I thought things went okay. I was good with estimating the parts I wanted to cut out.
Something I learned from doing this assignment is that people that do this for a living must be really skilled ! Or they could be used to doing it. Anyway, either way it is way more work and focus than I thought it would be. I got bored alot doing the assignment just because I had to reply the audio mulitple times and hear the samething over and over. After three times of hearing the samething it can get annoying, but I am glad I have experienced a task like this.
I didn’t really enjoy anything from this experience because it wasn’t fun to me. I do think this experience will be useful and help me in the future. I wasn’t surpsised about anything either. I expected the assignment to be just how it was. I thought my audio came out pretty smooth, but the more experience I get editing audio I believe I can get really good at it. I wish I knew how to zoom into the audio and make it more detailed so I could have deleted extra space.
