This is the raw audio of me interviweing Marqueston Huff.
I enjoyed the interviewing process. It was interesting coming up with questions to ask the person. Before the interview I wrote down some questions to ask but while I was asking the questions my words didnt come out the exact way I had wrote it down. I tried to be comfortable and did not want to over think. I also tried to limit the questions because I did not want to confuse the interviewer.
I have experiecned being interviewed with a audio recorder before and I think its just like speaking into a microphone, but the only thing that is different is the device is recording. Using the audio recorder as an interviewee was difficult and easy and the same time. I say easy because I was the one answering the questions. The reason is was a little difficult because I was thinking way more than I thought I would. While the person was answering my questions I was thinking about how I should phrase my next question or what would I have done if the person had answered a questioned before I asked it. One thing I learned from this experience is to ask the question as if I am really concerned, rather than asking the question as a statement.
I do wish I would have done this but I do know to do it next time. Another thing I wish I would have done is asked my questions more smoother, when I say smoother I mean without thinking or stuttering which I believed I did once. After hearing myself asnwering questions I noticed that I said “uhhh” a couple of times and that was not good because you can tell I was thinking. The next time I get interviewed I will try not to say that at all even if it means me pausing longer before I answer the questions.
